Anushka Sharma relationship heading for a split? That is the question that is doing the rounds in Bollywood which has recently been rocked by the high profile break-ups of Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif and Farhan-Adhuna Akhtar. If sources are to be believed then the split between the cricket superstar and the actor is very much on the cards. It all started when Virat ‘unfollowed’ Anushka from his Instagram account a few days back. The social media became agog with speculations regarding the imminent break-up. Virat, however, stated that his account had developed some technical problems and quite a few of his friends including Anushka got ‘unfollowed’. However, there is a different side to the story also. Sources of both the celebrities confirmed Tuesday that Virat had wanted to get married and settle down in 2016 itself. However, Anushka turned down his proposal because of her career aspirations. The feisty lady along with her acting pursuits also wants to make a name for herself as a producer and was not ready to let ‘marriage’ act as a spanner in her career plans. Sources indicated that she informed Virat that at the moment it was impossible for her to tie the nuptial knot and that she could only do it sometime in 2017. This put off the Indian Test captain and both decided to go their separate ways. Both Virat and Anushka have not officially stated anything on their split. Virat has just returned from Australia while Anushka is busy shooting abroad. One can just hope that the couple doesn’t walk the same pitch that some of the other Bollywood celebrities have done in the recent past. -
